All venues must be booked on the Registration Form to receive the special delegate rates. Brisbane has one of the highest hotel occupancies of any city in Australia so we urge you to book early.

A shared room booking service is available for delegates who would like to reduce their accommodation costs by sharing with another delegate.

Home Stay Program

APPLICATIONS CLOSE APRIL 1, 2009!

Through our Home Stay Program, international delegates get to experience the joy and richness of living with an Australian host for the period of the conference. Home Stay allows you to experience another culture and lifestyle different from your own - the opportunity to experience the "real" Australia. Due to overwhelming demand for this program national visitors to Brisbane are not eligible at this time.

As an alternative to staying in a hotel or motel, the Home Stay program provides delegates with accommodation in the homes of local residents. Our host families are hand picked with care and are welcoming, clean, friendly, easy going and helpful.

Our Australian hosts will provide:

• A safe, comfortable and friendly environment;

• A private room, hospitality and food with an Australian family

• Advice and assistance with transport to and from the airport, the conference venue, and social events;

• Ongoing support during your stay.

The Home Stay accommodation option attracts total cost of AU$50 with money going towards a travel grant for an overseas delegate.

Space in the Home Stay program is limited, and only fully registered, paid Conference delegates will be considered. Priority will be given to international delegates.
